The Wind Based Power Generation by Mytrah Energy (India) Limited Project consists of 223 wind turbines spread throughout India’s Southern Grid and the Project has a total installed capacity of 233.1 megawatts. India’s Southern Grid is predominantly powered by coal and thus, the Project will help to reduce nearly 5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions (mtCO2e) over the first ten years of the Project. In addition to producing clean, renewable energy, the Project will also promote social, economic, technological, and environmental well-being.
