We know that selling our products has an impact on the environment and we aim to look at all aspects of the business to assess this impact, minimize or offset any negative impact where possible. We’re still young as a brand and we’re doing what we can today, while looking to continuously reassess and improve our efforts as we grow. There are three core areas we review for environmental impact. The first is overall business, and here we aim to offset our business activities to be a carbon neutral business. We’ve done this with through Carbonfund.org.
Second, we review our product manufacturing and supply chain. We mandate that all natural raw materials are sustainably sourced. We also work toward synthetic raw materials being produced in the least impactful way possible. We are working with our production and packaging partners to improve the impact that their activities has on the environment. We are looking at packaging revisions to improve recyclability and reduce the amount of plastic waste that may be created after use of our products. And we will be working toward sourcing locally as much as possible in the future to reduce freight emissions impact.
Third we are always working to reduce shipping environmental impact (to customers, to press, to retailers) and finding favorable materials and freight solutions.
