Established in 1882, Spottswoode is a family-owned historic vineyard and winery in the Napa Valley renowned for its elegant, balanced Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. After purchasing this singular Estate in 1972, the Novak family embarked on a sustainable path in 1985 with the introduction of organic farming. Committed to being good stewards of the land, they have accelerated their environmental efforts to include solar and biodynamic practices to name a few. As a multi-generational, agriculturally based business, Spottswoode is dedicated to addressing climate change through industry and community leadership, with the stated goal of inspiring others to join in these efforts.
“Climate Change is the defining issue of our time, and we feel strongly that we must be a part of the solution to this global crisis. We take our commitment to the environment seriously, and through our actions we hope to inspire others to care for and respect our natural resources, as well.” – Beth Novak Milliken, President & CEO
