Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry is a pediatric dental clinic in the beautiful mountains of Los Alamos, NM. Our mission is to provide an exceptional customer experience to our patients; invest in the health and education of children in our community; support the personal and professional growth of our team members; and create a healthier planet by minimizing our environmental impact. In addition to making pediatric dentistry fun and comfortable, we give back at least 10% of our profits to local nonprofits and are a member of 1% for the Planet!
At Los Alamos Children’s Dentistry we create a healthier planet by recycling toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, sharps, gloves, cups, masks, and coffee pods through partnerships with Terracycle. We additionally are members of 1% for the Planet and donate to a local nonprofit, Pajarito Environmental Education Center, that focuses on environmental education and sustainability. We also replaced plastic “goody bags” in our office with recyclable, reusable water bottles. Thus, all patients receive their toothbrushes, floss, etc in a reusable water bottle rather than in a disposable plastic bag. We utilize an entirely paperless patient management system that allows patients to complete all “paperwork” online. We also have a partnership with Carbonfund where we aim to reduce and offset our carbon footprint.
