The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) has launched it’s Environmental Protection Week for December 13th-17th, 2021. During this time, the CFC will be promoting the environment as a worthy cause to inspire federal, military, and retired employees to support organizations like Carbonfund.org Foundation that protect the health of our planet.

Cause week icons of environmental protection with icons of seas animals, the world with a leaf, and the forest.

This year, CFC has joined with EarthShare to bring their donors a plethora of nonprofit environmental partners to support. Carbonfund.org is proud to share the success story of our Amazonian Rainforest Projects as part of this campaign.

Carbonfund.org has spent the last decade investing and developing more than 750,000 acres of Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation (REDD+) projects in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. The Envira Amazonia Project, the Purus Project and the Russas-Valparaiso Projects have reduced over 16 million metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions in their first 10 years of operation. By mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, these projects help to combat climate change while also having many other social and environmental benefits.

Please join the Combined Federal Campaign, EarthShare and Carbonfund.org by supporting our Brazilian Amazonian Rainforest Projects during Environmental Protection Week. Carbonfund.org’s CFC number is 62681 which you will need at the CFC pledge portal.
