New Carbonfree Partner JellyChip Launches Tree-Planting App
Thursday, 16 November 2017
JellyChip is a social, people-powered environment app for buying trees and reducing carbon emissions, directly from your mobile device.
Give with a tap or sit back and watch people from around the world save the world. The app is available on iOS here https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jellychip/id1105833842?mt=8 or Android here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jellychip&hl=en.
JellyChip as an organization is premised on helping people change the world through innovative means. For every gift that is bought through the JellyChip app, a donation payment is made to Carbonfund.org for every gift purchased.
JellyChip uses innovative ways to pay for in-app gifts through surveys, reward videos or in-app purchases, which means it costs their users nothing to save the environment.
JellyChip believes in the power of crowdsourcing and have equipped users with an app that allows people to crowdsource charity gifts for free wherever they may be, around the world.
JellyChip also took the additional step to neutralize 36 metric tonnes of its own operating emissions by joining the Carbonfree® Business Partnership Program with Carbonfund.org.
The JellyChip app was recently launched and it is expected that donations to Carbonfund.org to grow significantly as the JellyChip app’s usage spreads.
“We wholeheartedly believe in the Carbonfund.org charity model, and feel JellyChip can be a great way to generate long term support for the cause of the environment,” states James Downing, CEO and Founder. “By crowdsourcing giving for free, we believe that JellyChip can be a great asset to saving our planet, reducing our carbon footprint, and promoting sustainable business practices.”
