DC Green Wedding Giveaway - Chance to Win $50,000 Eco Wedding
For the second year in a row, the DC Green Wedding Consortium will give away a $50,000 eco-friendly Earth Day wedding to one lucky couple. The winning couple’s wedding will take place on April 22, 2010, the 40th anniversary celebration of Earth Day. The Consortium's founder Katie Martin is heading up the giveaway and is also the founder of CarbonFree® Partner Elegance & Simplicity, a wedding design firm.All applications must be submitted online by October 20, 2009 and by Washington, DC Metropolitan area residents only. Ten finalists will be chosen for in-person interviews. The winning couple will be announced on December 9th at the DCGWC Holiday Party! The 2010 Earth Day Wedding prize package includes a design consulting and floral/decor package from Elegance & Simplicity, a venue rental of the Stephen Decatur House Museum, cuisine, music, lighting, and more.
