Commitment
Sokolis Group decided to join Carbonfund.org because we believe in leading by example. Sokolis Group provides consulting services to fleets concerning strategies to reduce total fuel consumption. We assist fleet owners with fuel supply chain management strategies. We identify more efficient methods of operating and implement various types of technology to reduce fleet emissions. We evaluate ROA, ROI, and fueling methodologies and perform cost benefit analysis to provide complete solutions for the entire fleet. Our core business is based on fuel consumption and we feel it is important to support the development of renewable energy and do our part by neutralizing our carbon footprint, as well as help our clients do the same.
Sokolis Group internally participates in carbon offsetting by contributing a percentage of each revenue dollar in helping non profit causes that work to reduce carbon emissions in the environment. The non profit causes are eligible projects on the basis of sequestration, destruction, or reduction of GHG emissions. Sokolis Group has chosen to specifically support Renewable Energy with CarbonFund.org. Sokolis Group provides paperless billing to customers in an effort to reduce the waste of paper and fuel necessary to transport invoices. Since rolling out the initiative on Earth Day 2008, less than one month ago, over 40% of customers receive invoices electronically. The Sokolis Group has reduced its contribution to pollution caused by commuting to the office by scheduling work-remote days, carpooling, utilizing public transportation, and commuting by bicycle.
