Description

University of Michigan Hillel is an active Jewish student center that serves as a resource to create vibrant and meaningful Jewish life at the University of Michigan. We are continually seeking to integrate sustainability practices into our work given our core value of tikkun olam, healing the world. The U-M Hillel is currently home to over 50 student groups ranging from religious to cultural interests.  Please visit us at www.umhillel.org for more information.

Commitment

We are currently focusing our commitment to the environment in 3 areas:
1) Greening our programming (e.g. offsets, increased re-use and recycling)
2) Greening our building (efficiency upgrades – when possible)
3) Integrating Sustainable Values in our student body (through programming and education)
